回收捐贈大行動
2015年11月9日
日前，本會獲5位科技大學商學院的同學邀請，參與他們現正推行的回收捐贈大行動。他們希望透過活動能夠推廣反對難民歧視，亦同時增加市民對他們的認識。本會認為這次活動不但能夠喚醒大眾對難民的關注與此同時亦能夠推廣環保一舉兩得。
他們現在向同學們收集一些日常用品捐贈予在港難民，同學有興趣參與請直接聯絡他們，截至日期：11月16日

It is with mixed emotion that, I hereby announce that my post as a Chairman of the Club shall be ended on 30th September, 2014.
At the same time, I'm delighted to announce our new chairman, Tristan Lau and his team will begin their term of service for academic year 2014-2015 in October 2014. In due course, my team and I will continue to serve the club as consultant.
Tristan’s extensive extracurricular allow him to have a broad knowledge and experience base to draw from and build upon. This mark a new era of the club and I am sure that he will lead the club to reach new heights.
We are honoured to welcome him on board, and I hope you'll join me in wishing him a warm welcome when he begin his term of service next month.

支持機構：龍虎山環境教育中心
來到環保週的最後一項活動，今天（2月22日）一行20位同學參與由龍虎山環境教育中心舉辦的漫遊龍虎山導賞團，活動十分精彩，同學亦獲益良多！發現學校位於的中西區不但只是香港的金融中心，又或者只是上學的地方，更擁有一個燦爛的自然環境。
最後要感謝本週的主要贊助，根與芽香港及高盛，以及香港迪士尼樂園綠行者計劃資助活動經費才能夠得以成功舉辦。
Here comes the last event of green week. Today (22 February) some 20 students joined the guide tour provided by Lung Fu Shan Enviornmental Education Centre. The event was fasinating and students gain a lot from that. They discover that Central and Western district is not just the financial centre or their place to study, there is a beautiful nature up on the hill.

環保酵素工作坊 Eco－enzyme workshop

今天（20日）十五位同學參加由本會與根與芽香港合辦的環保酵素工作坊。同學有機會製作自己的環保酵素， 用途多元化當中包括代替洗潔精。 Today (20 Feb) 15 students from our schools joined the Eco-emzyme workshop organised by St. Paul's College Green Club and Roots and Shoots Hong Kong. Students get a hands on experience to make their own eco-enzyme, it can be widely used in our daily life. For example, use it as detergent.

今天一班有心的中三同學們，參與由本會主辦的派飯活動。目的是為了讓同學明白珍惜食物的重要性，而且認識社會上有需要的一群人。Today a group of committed form three students joined our club's food distribution acitivity in Sham Shui Po. The aim of the event is to let students know the important of treasuring their food and know more about people who are in need.

Since our establishment in 2012,we have already inspired more than 2500 people across the community with more than 6000 environmental pledges made during our stellar event "Plant Your Plant". This year for "Green Week 2014" we created a "green pledge tree" for gathering pledges made by our Paulines. You are invited to write down your pledges at Podium and stick it on the tree. 聖保羅書院環保學會三週年

聖保羅書院環保學會踏入第三個年頭，過去一直有賴同學們的支持，本會才會有今天的成就。一個學會得以延續亦有賴於一班熱心的委員們的付出。短短成立了3年累計會員人數已經達到80人，已經成為本校的環保大使亦有一共110人。數目之多，人數之最，亦是全校最受歡迎的學會之一。我們的委員們將會繼續為大家提供更加精彩的活動。適逢本會三週年，將會推出一系列的週年慶祝活動，詳情請留意本會網站。
St. Paul's College Green Club is entering its 3rd year, over last three years thanks for all your support. Without them, we wouldn't have such a great achievement. A club can't run without the contribution from a group of passionate committee members. We have got more than 80 members and 110 green ambassador . Being one of the most popular clubs in our school, our committee will strive for their best to provide fruitful events in the coming year. Coincide with 3rd Anniversary of the club, the committee have prepared a wide range of celebration events, for more details please refer to our official website.

2013年綠動會
2013年10月8日
一連四次於運動盛事的環保回收活動於星期一（10月7日）經已完滿結束。最後一次的回收活動再次錄得新高，一共回收660個膠樽，回收率為88%。
總結四次活動，本會發現不少同學所回收的膠樽內還剩餘一部份的飲料，再次希望同學珍惜食水。當然謹記自備可重用的水瓶。
可持續發展是指在保護環境的條件下既滿足當代人的需求，又不損害後代人的需求的發展模式。環境保護並不但只為了自己有一個美好的生活環境，而是為了美好的環境得以承傳，人和自然可以和諧共存。我們這一代人消耗的資源實在太多了。由自己的生活習慣開始，改變自己，改變世界。
大家於運動會後通常感謝prefects, scouts, red cross 或 scout的貢獻，但其實環保學會的一班委員都在默默地為大家保持場地的清潔，以及做好回收的工作。本會亦在此表達對他們的感謝。

The four recycling activity during sporting events have ended last Monday (October 7). We have a record high of a total 660 plastic bottles recycled, the recovery rate was 88% a 5% increase.
In conclusion of four event, our committees found that many students are recycling plastic bottles with drinks in it. Remember to save our world resources.
Of course, keep in mind that you should bring along with a reusable bottle.
Sustainable development refers to a mode of human development in which resource use aims to meet human needs while ensuring the sustainability of natural systems and the environment, so that these needs can be met not only in the present, but also for generations to come.
Environmental protection is not just for a better living for us, and as to let people and nature can coexist in harmony. Resources are consumed at a faster rate. Begin to change your lifestyle and change the world.
The majority of you may share your sincere gratitude to prefects, red cross, scout and officials, but in fact some committees of Green Club is helping every to keep the site clean and working on recycling work. On be half of the club we would like to share our sincere gratitude to all of them.

明天本會將繼續舉辦回收活動，分別將於近司令台以及Prefects Stand附近設立固定回收箱。本會委員亦會每三十分鐘於看台上收集各位的膠樽。減廢由源頭開始，減少製造！

據本會委員統計，今天一共派發480支樽裝水，以及同學於小賣部購買的飲品合共製造多達約600支膠樽。本會今天史無前例地回收了合共500支膠樽，幾乎將所有派出的樽裝水全面回收，回收率首次突破83%，是自本會舉行回收膠樽活動以來首次錄得的高位。本會亦體諒同學因為天氣炎熱而需要購買飲料，但亦再次呼籲同學們自備可重用的水樽。運動場的出口位置設有水機，歡迎同學添加食水。運動會的決賽日將會在下星期一舉行，同學們亦要注意補充水分，保持涼爽，提防中暑!

According to estimation by our committee member, our students created up to a total of approximately 600 plastic bottles today.
Unprecedentedly, we have recycled 500 plastic bottles, a record high of recycling rate up to 83 percent. We understand that schoolmates may need to buy water due to the hot weather. However, we would like to suggest schoolmates to bring along their own water bottles. There are water dispenser for school mates to fill up your water bottles. The Sports Day Final will be held next Monday, schoolmates are reminded to drink more and to keep cool, beware of heat stroke!

本校一年一度的水運會決賽日完滿結束。環保學會經繼續舉行回收活動。本會連續第三年於場地收集膠樽，今天一共收集150個膠樽比上次水運會減少16.6％。，有顯著的變化，這意味著聖保羅書院同學們的努力，積極減少廢物。恭喜！
The Swimming Gala Final of this year has ended. Green Club has been continuing its obligation of holding recycling events around the venue. This is the third consecutive year that our committee and members collecting plastic bottles from our boys. It has been a significant change in the number of plastic bottles collected during sporting events, this signifies that St. Paul’s students has been working hard to reduce the number of wastes. The number of bottles collected was 150, which is a reduction of 16.6%. Congratulation!
珍惜用水

今天本會主席與前副主席發現學校內更衣室沖身位置水喉長開的問題未有改善，有同學於沖身後沒有關掉水龍頭，令水一直長流，甚至令整個沖身的位置水浸。這個行為不但不環保亦顯得同學們欠缺公德心。沖身設施是為同學而設，亦不希望同學浪費資源。 水費是學校給的，但資源是社會的。 你們又可否知道這個世界上有少人沒有乾淨的食水？ 而亦有多少人因沒有乾淨的食水而死亡？ 數目不敢想像。
本會在此作出呼籲，希望同學們知道珍惜食水的重要性，只是一個小小的動作就可以改變世界，請同學們離開沖身位置前關掉水龍頭。若有同學於更衣室發現水龍頭沒有關好的話，請亦主動伸出緩手幫手把它關掉。感謝大家的注意！
Today our Chairman and former Vice-Chairman discovered that the showering tap hasn't been turned off which cause water overflow in the changing room. This act show that our school mates are absentminded and are not environmentally friendly. The facility is set up for us to let us have a shower after the PE lesson. However, it seems that our school mate doesn't cherish what we have. Though the water bill is paid by our school, the resources belong to the society. Don't you know that how many people in the world can't access to fresh water? Don't you know that how many people died because of this? The number can't be imagined.
Water is inextricably linked to our daily life, we can't live without it.
Last but not least, I would like to call on every student in our school to know the importance of treasuring the precious water. Just a little step, we can change the world. PLEASE be reminded that you shouldn't leave the showering area with the tap on. If anyone who found the tap is still on when you are in the changing room, please take the initiative to turn off the tap. Thanks for your attention.

The Swimming Gala Heats Day of this year has ended. Green Club has been continuing its obligation of holding recycling events around the venue. This is the third consecutive year that our committee and members collecting plastic bottles from our boys. It has been a significant change in the number of plastic bottles collected during sporting events, this signifies that St. Paul’s students has been working hard to reduce the number of wastes. The number of bottles collected was 180, which is 45.5% of last year’s swimming gala, a reduction of 54.5%. Congratulation! We are making real change! Also we would like to thank the committee for helping us today.

Tomorrow is going to be St. Paul's College Swimming Gala.No tuck shop will be at the venue, students are required to bring their own snacks and drinks if needed. 衝上雲霄
2013年8月12日
最近衝上雲霄2成為城中熱門話題，不少人因為這關係對航空業有了深入的了解。更有不少人夢想成為飛機師或空中服務員，與飛機環遊世界。但其實這個行業，屬高碳排放的行業之一。原來香港來回倫敦的航程，平均每位乘客會排放1660kgCO2。航機每燃燒1kg的燃油，便會在大氣層排放約3.15kg的二氧化碳。本港就有航空公司推出碳補償計劃，協助乘客計算所乘搭航班的碳排放量。
Recently, the TVB drama Triumph in the Skies are popular among Hong Kong city dwellers. Due to the programme people would like to know more about the Airline industry. Someone might even want to be a pilot or a flight attendant as to travel around the world. However, this industry is one of the highest carbon emission industry around the globe. A round trip to London from Hong Kong, each passenger will emit 1600kg of CO2 to the atmosphere averagely. When plan burn a kg of the fuel it will emit 3.15 kg of CO2 into the atmosphere . Some of the airline in Hong Kong launched carbon offset programs to assist passengers to calculate their carbon emissions on their flight.

本會繼8月初與佛羅里達州的Teens Go Green成為國際合作伙伴後再次成為加拿大的Surrey Youth Sustainable Network的國際合作伙伴，於即將來臨的9月份與組織舉行網上會議，屆時本會新一屆的委員以及主席將會與加拿大的環保之士進行國際交流。還在等什麼呢？快點加入成為新一屆的委員！
Since the beginning of August we established our first international partnership with Teens Go Green of Orlando, FL USA, today we go further beyond the boundaries and officially became the international partner of the Surrey Youth Sustainable Network. In the comming September we are going to hold a video conference online with the network. The New Committee board and the Chairman will be attending the meeting and share green ideas among each other. So what are you waiting for? Let's join us as the new committee board next year!

本會繼五月成為綠色學校聯盟以及港燈綠得開心學校計劃成員後，再次擴闊國際聯繫成為兩個機構的成員包括位於韓國的International Cooperation of Environmental Youth以及位於美國的Children & Nature Network，其次亦成為位於美國佛羅里達州的Teens Go Green 的國際伙伴之一。
Since May 2013, we established our first international and local link with Green Schools Alliance and the HK Electric Green Schools Campaign. In this summer, we further expand our links beyond Hong Kong. We are delighted to join International Cooperation of Environmental Youth in Korea and Children & Nature Network in USA as a member overseas. Furthermore, we would like to officially announce our first international partnership with Teens Go Green.

「社區共建遊樂場」活動

本校今天進行復活節崇拜，一如以往，本會於各個出口設置回收箱全面回收同學棄置的崇拜秩序禮文。是次一共回收600份的秩序禮文，回收率高達六成。在此感謝同學們支持環保，最後祝大家有一個愉快的復活節假期。
地球一小時 2013

全球人口越來越多，越來越富裕，唯有節約能源，我們才能以有限的資源。滿足不斷上升的需求，讓下一代能
繼續在地球生活。這並不只限於熄燈節約用電，從日常生活的電器使用、交通、煮食，甚至從洗澡上也可做到
節能。
本校全力支持地球一小時，校園的非必要的照明將會於當天的晚上八時半關掉。本會鼓勵同學們在家裏響應此項活動，為地球減碳，改變消耗能源的習慣，成功節約能源。

國際水資源合作年 2013

水，是我們日常生活中不可或缺的東西，亦是可再生但有限的資源。聯合國於2010年的聯合國大會上將2013年定為「國際水資源合作年」，目標是提高全球對「水資源」的認知，從而加強各國在水資源管理問題上的合作，共同促使水資源的可持續發展。
全球可用淡水佔整體水資源不足1%
全球有近8億人未能享用安全食水
香港人每人每日用水量較全球人均用量高30%
香港人每日因用水產生的碳排放高達1,500 公噸，加劇全球暖化
沖涼是家居用水量最高的項目。

綠 · 運會 Green Sports Day

三月四日的陸運會初賽日圓滿結束，我們一共收集150 個膠樽比水運會所收集的少約一半，顯示同學們對環保意識有所提升。由源頭減廢是最有效的的方法，本會相信只要同學的努力，環保並不難做到。回收活動將於陸運會決賽日繼續。但本會鼓勵同學自備水瓶，減少浪費，締造一個綠色運動會。環境好啲，做運動都開心啲！
活水 行 2013
2013年3月16日
自去年本會派出代表參加由愛德基金會舉辦的活水行活動，今年已經是該機構第三年舉辦同類型的活動。本會一如以往，派出代表參加。「活水‧行2013」上星期六在陽光普照下圓滿結朿。
活動接近超過700人參與! 共籌得港幣接近五十萬元，是次步行籌得的善款將會用於愛德的「活水行動」項目，援建中國農村飲水系統。

少洗澡一分鐘能夠省到11公升的水，希望大家從今以後都珍惜用水，為我們們的下一代著想。
環保學會與攝影學會攝影比賽
2013年3至4月
比賽已經開始，主題為 十年樹木，百年樹人 。是次比賽獎品豐富，請踴躍參加！截止提交日期為 2013年4月8日
為了推廣綠色校園，本會在這個冬季新增了以下兩項回收活動：
一、 校方為了減少浪費，兩年前把一冊冊的聖誕崇拜程序雙面印刷於A4紙上。我們從本年度開始更進一步，在禮堂各出口設收集站，全面回收用完的程序表。
二、 經過農曆年假，大量利是封被掉棄。於是我們推行了利是封回收大行動，並於一周內回收了約五百個利是封。
以上兩項回收活動反應熱烈，備受師生推崇。本會十分感謝各位的支持，亦希望大家繼續為環保出一分力。
午膳電影欣賞
2013年1月
日前，由環保學會舉辦的午膳電影欣賞順利舉行，其中十五位來自本校不同年級的同學曾經參加本活動，從電影中學習環境保護重要性。通過展示人類在地球不同環境的生活方式與適應力，從中闡述人類與大自然之間的微妙關係。值得我們欣賞，期待日後能夠舉辦同類活動。
利利是是大行動

行動完滿成功有賴同學們的支持。今次活動一共回收498封利是，所有利是已經交往綠領行動進行回收。
參加香港迪士尼樂園舉辦的自然徑觀鳥活動
2012年12月2日
日前，十二位來自本校的同學代表本學會出席由香港迪士尼樂園度假區舉行的自然觀鳥活動。
十二月二日在迪欣湖順利舉行，機構邀請了十七位來自香港失明人協進會的會員與二十多位的參加者進行觀鳥，從而推廣傷健共容以及社會和諧的信息。本校的其中兩位視障同學亦有參加是次活動。雖然當天天氣不明朗，但亦無損同學們對大自然的熱愛！

今屆水運會圓滿結束，本會今天一共收到約400支膠樽及120罐鋁罐，感謝各位對環保的支持！ 本會同時亦會衡量同學對於回收的需要，有必要的話將會再次在兩次陸運會上進行類似的回收活動。雖然有回收的活動，但是本會並不建議大家買樽裝飲品。下次應自備水樽，減少使用地球資源。環保應由源頭開始，減少製造，減少浪費！

回收月餅活動
2012年9月25至27日
一連三日，本會舉行今年首創的月餅回收活動。雖然同學的反應未算熱烈，但我們也一共收到20個月餅，所有同學們捐出的月餅已經轉送給慈善機構，幫助有需要的人士。本會非常關注同學們對於珍惜食物的意識，我們亦會從這方面著手。大家留意下半年度本會的活動！

10月16日是世界糧食日，全球約有10億人長期處於飢荒，數字達到接近一個中國，香港每天丟棄3200噸食物，數字驚人。一年便累積 100 多萬公噸，有 7 萬輛雙層巴士那麼重。根據研究，香港人每年外出用膳的消費額達3,500億港元，若以港人每周午餐平均花費150港元計，四成人吃剩三份一食物，等於白花了45港元，由此推算，全港市民每周浪費1億3千多萬港元，足以助養280多萬名發展中國家兒童一星期。
